Some time ago, walking alone in the back woods here at the Tabernacle where I live, in deep prayer and travail before the Lord, HE SPOKE TO MY HEART.

"SON, WHAT DID I TELL YOU TO CALL YOURSELF?"

I ANSWERED, "THE LAST DAY PROPHET."

HE THEN ASKED ME, "IS THIS THE LAST DAY?"

I ANSWERED, "YES."

HE SAID, "NO, THIS IS THE SIXTH DAY. THE LAST DAY OF THE WEEK IS THE 7TH DAY, SABBATH, THE REST DAY OF THE LORD.

With that He then opened again afresh and anew the profoundness of the calling placed on my life and for which I was born. To know and to call a people and prepare them worldwide for His day.

There is no doubt in my heart that the 7th day Sabbath, established by God and so badly kept by men and polluted by the world, is a great witness to the elect. A day for our God to say it is finished and done and I now rest.

Am I on an ego trip, as one dear brother said to me some time ago? Am I just as the news media has declared, "A self proclaimed prophet and no more"?

It is possible that I am deceived, as one that aspired for the anointing on me has said.

"AND IF THE PROPHET BE DECEIVED WHEN HE HATH SPOKEN A THING, I THE LORD HAVE DECEIVED THAT PROPHET, AND I WILL STRETCH OUT MY HAND UPON HIM, AND WILL DESTROY HIM FROM THE MIDST OF MY PEOPLE ISRAEL." -- EZEK 14:9

Am I being deceived by the Almighty God Himself? All these questions have entered my mind and deep into my heart many times.

The Lord says He will truly take care of that man.

"AND I WILL SET MY FACE AGAINST THAT MAN, AND WILL MAKE HIM A SIGN AND A PROVERB, AND I WILL CUT HIM OFF FROM THE MIDST OF MY PEOPLE; AND YE SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD." -- EZEK 14:8

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God.

As we hear and watch, so many things written in scripture are coming to pass. Yet there is a shocking spirit of slumber and striving with fear and struggling with doubt upon me and many others.

As the Apostle Paul wrote:

"FOR, WHEN WE WERE COME INTO MACEDONIA, OUR FLESH HAD NO REST, BUT WE WERE TROUBLED ON EVERY SIDE; WITHOUT WERE FIGHTINGS, WITHIN WERE FEARS." -- 2 COR 7:5

Even so, we are coming to the very critical end time. Our flesh seems to have no rest and the fighting and fears are a daily battle.

Now to the question at hand. Is the time that has been in the Father's mind and heart about to come to pass and the restoring of the kingdom to Israel near?

"WHEN THEY THEREFORE WERE COME TOGETHER, THEY ASKED OF HIM, SAYING, LORD, WILT THOU AT THIS TIME RESTORE AGAIN THE KINGDOM TO ISRAEL?

"AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, IT IS NOT FOR YOU TO KNOW THE TIMES OR THE SEASONS, WHICH THE FATHER HATH PUT IN HIS OWN POWER." -- ACTS 1:6-7

Here is a very remarkable statement by the Lord Jesus to the disciples at that time. IT IS NOT FOR YOU TO KNOW THE TIMES OR THE SEASONS.

This question and answer has seemed to blind many to the real truth that the time was not revealed nor did the Lord want them to know it or think about it, because it was not near or soon to come to pass.

We see this also in the context of the next question on this subject.

"AND HIS DISCIPLES ASKED HIM, SAYING, WHY THEN SAY THE SCRIBES THAT ELIAS MUST FIRST COME?

"AND JESUS ANSWERED AND SAID UNTO THEM, ELIAS TRULY SHALL FIRST COME, AND RESTORE ALL THINGS.

"BUT I SAY UNTO YOU, THAT ELIAS IS COME ALREADY, AND THEY KNEW HIM NOT, BUT HAVE DONE UNTO HIM WHATSOEVER THEY LISTED. LIKEWISE SHALL ALSO THE SON OF MAN SUFFER OF THEM." -- MAT 17:10-12

"BEHOLD, I WILL SEND MY MESSENGER, AND HE SHALL PREPARE THE WAY BEFORE ME: AND THE LORD, WHOM YE SEEK, SHALL SUDDENLY COME TO HIS TEMPLE, EVEN THE MESSENGER OF THE COVENANT, WHOM YE DELIGHT IN: BEHOLD, HE SHALL COME, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS." -- MAL 3:1

One thing I like to always mention is that Jesus did answer the question that needed to be answered to give the followers some direction.

"AND JESUS ANSWERED AND SAID UNTO THEM, ELIAS TRULY SHALL FIRST COME, AND RESTORE ALL THINGS. BUT I SAY UNTO YOU, THAT ELIAS IS COME ALREADY..."

The scripture was being fulfilled as God intended. John came in the power and with the purpose of Elias. Here, God knowing that they were looking for Elias to come, had John's name fully established to conceal the truth that he had come. What a God who knows time and reveals time and conceals time.

"BUT THE ANGEL SAID UNTO HIM, FEAR NOT, ZACHARIAS: FOR THY PRAYER IS HEARD; AND THY WIFE ELISABETH SHALL BEAR THEE A SON, AND THOU SHALT CALL HIS NAME JOHN.

"FOR HE SHALL BE GREAT IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD, AND SHALL DRINK NEITHER WINE NOR STRONG DRINK; AND HE SHALL BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, EVEN FROM HIS MOTHER'S WOMB.

"AND MANY OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL SHALL HE TURN TO THE LORD THEIR GOD.

"AND HE SHALL GO BEFORE HIM IN THE SPIRIT AND POWER OF ELIAS, TO TURN THE HEARTS OF THE FATHERS TO THE CHILDREN, AND THE DISOBEDIENT TO THE WISDOM OF THE JUST; TO MAKE READY A PEOPLE PREPARED FOR THE LORD.

"AND ZACHARIAS SAID UNTO THE ANGEL, WHEREBY SHALL I KNOW THIS? FOR I AM AN OLD MAN, AND MY WIFE WELL STRICKEN IN YEARS.

"AND THE ANGEL ANSWERING SAID UNTO HIM, I AM GABRIEL, THAT STAND IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD; AND AM SENT TO SPEAK UNTO THEE, AND TO SHOW THEE THESE GLAD TIDINGS.

"AND, BEHOLD, THOU SHALT BE DUMB, AND NOT ABLE TO SPEAK, UNTIL THE DAY THAT THESE THINGS SHALL BE PERFORMED, BECAUSE THOU BELIEVEST NOT MY WORDS, WHICH SHALL BE FULFILLED IN THEIR SEASON.

"AND THE PEOPLE WAITED FOR ZACHARIAS, AND MARVELLED THAT HE TARRIED SO LONG IN THE TEMPLE.

"AND IT CAME TO PASS, THAT ON THE EIGHTH DAY THEY CAME TO CIRCUMCISE THE CHILD; AND THEY CALLED HIM ZACHARIAS, AFTER THE NAME OF HIS FATHER.

"AND HIS MOTHER ANSWERED AND SAID, NOT SO; BUT HE SHALL BE CALLED JOHN.

"AND THEY SAID UNTO HER, THERE IS NONE OF THY KINDRED THAT IS CALLED BY THIS NAME.

"AND THEY MADE SIGNS TO HIS FATHER, HOW HE WOULD HAVE HIM CALLED.

"AND HE ASKED FOR A WRITING TABLE, AND WROTE, SAYING, HIS NAME IS JOHN. AND THEY MARVELLED ALL." -- LUKE 1:13,15-21,59-63

Why didn't the angel just tell Zacharias that he should name the boy Elias? It seems in the mind of man that that would be the clearest and most direct thing to do.

Well, it was because God had a plan and a man that was to fix things so that men could come into the presence of God. It was not yet time for the full impact of the Elias ministry to come. The seed of the women had to bruise the heel of the serpent. Jesus did not come to set up the kingdom at that time. He came to make a way for the chosen seed to be able to be restored. Read about this work that Jesus came to do.

"THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD GOD IS UPON ME; BECAUSE THE LORD HATH ANOINTED ME TO PREACH GOOD TIDINGS UNTO THE MEEK; HE HATH SENT ME TO BIND UP THE BROKENHEARTED, TO PROCLAIM LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES, AND THE OPENING OF THE PRISON TO THEM THAT ARE BOUND;

"TO PROCLAIM THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD, AND THE DAY OF VENGEANCE OF OUR GOD; TO COMFORT ALL THAT MOURN;

"TO APPOINT UNTO THEM THAT MOURN IN ZION, TO GIVE UNTO THEM BEAUTY FOR ASHES, THE OIL OF JOY FOR MOURNING, THE GARMENT OF PRAISE FOR THE SPIRIT OF HEAVINESS; THAT THEY MIGHT BE CALLED TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, THE PLANTING OF THE LORD, THAT HE MIGHT BE GLORIFIED." -- ISA 61:1-3

"SEVENTY WEEKS ARE DETERMINED UPON THY PEOPLE AND UPON THY HOLY CITY, TO FINISH THE TRANSGRESSION, AND TO MAKE AN END OF SINS, AND TO MAKE RECONCILIATION FOR INIQUITY, AND TO BRING IN EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND TO SEAL UP THE VISION AND PROPHECY, AND TO ANOINT THE MOST HOLY." -- DAN 9:24

Can you see? Do you understand? Jesus (the seed of the woman, virgin born) had to take sins' penalty to destroy the power of sin, to reconcile man to God. This was the work of redemption. This is the work that Jesus was sent to do and He finished it.

"I HAVE GLORIFIED THEE ON THE EARTH: I HAVE FINISHED THE WORK WHICH THOU GAVEST ME TO DO." -- JOHN 17:4

"WHEN JESUS THEREFORE HAD RECEIVED THE VINEGAR, HE SAID, IT IS FINISHED: AND HE BOWED HIS HEAD, AND GAVE UP THE GHOST." -- JOHN 19:30

What He did do was He made it possible that men could have a new heart and nature so that they could receive the laws of the kingdom and live by them to be prepared for the coming kingdom. This was called the kingdom of God.

"AND WHEN HE WAS DEMANDED OF THE PHARISEES, WHEN THE KINGDOM OF GOD SHOULD COME, HE ANSWERED THEM AND SAID, THE KINGDOM OF GOD COMETH NOT WITH OBSERVATION:

"NEITHER SHALL THEY SAY, LO HERE! OR, LO THERE! FOR, BEHOLD, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU." -- LUKE 17:20-21

"FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT MEAT AND DRINK; BUT RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND PEACE, AND JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST." -- ROM 14:17

This had to be done so that men could enter into the kingdom of heaven.

"NOT EVERY ONE THAT SAITH UNTO ME, LORD, LORD, SHALL ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; BUT HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN." -- MAT 7:21

"VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, WHOSOEVER SHALL NOT RECEIVE THE KINGDOM OF GOD AS A LITTLE CHILD SHALL IN NO WISE ENTER THEREIN." -- LUKE 18:17

"AND THERE SHALL IN NO WISE ENTER INTO IT ANY THING THAT DEFILETH, NEITHER WHATSOEVER WORKETH ABOMINATION, OR MAKETH A LIE: BUT THEY WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE." -- REV 21:27

To deny the 7th day Sabbath is to lie. To observe the pagan season of christ-mass and easter is to honor a lie. To say that Christ is coming before the tribulation is a lie (Matt 24:29). To believe that you cannot fall away unto perdition and be lost is a lie.

"THEY ON THE ROCK ARE THEY, WHICH, WHEN THEY HEAR, RECEIVE THE WORD WITH JOY; AND THESE HAVE NO ROOT, WHICH FOR A WHILE BELIEVE, AND IN TIME OF TEMPTATION FALL AWAY" -- LUKE 8:13

"FOR IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THOSE WHO WERE ONCE ENLIGHTENED, AND HAVE TASTED OF THE HEAVENLY GIFT, AND WERE MADE PARTAKERS OF THE HOLY GHOST,

"AND HAVE TASTED THE GOOD WORD OF GOD, AND THE POWERS OF THE WORLD TO COME,

"IF THEY SHALL FALL AWAY, TO RENEW THEM AGAIN UNTO REPENTANCE; SEEING THEY CRUCIFY TO THEMSELVES THE SON OF GOD AFRESH, AND PUT HIM TO AN OPEN SHAME." -- HEB 6:4-6

"LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS: FOR THAT DAY SHALL NOT COME, EXCEPT THERE COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST, AND THAT MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED, THE SON OF PERDITION;" -- 2 TH 2:3

To believe a lie is to be damned.

"THAT THEY ALL MIGHT BE DAMNED WHO BELIEVED NOT THE TRUTH, BUT HAD PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS." -- 2 TH 2:12

"I HAVE NOT WRITTEN UNTO YOU BECAUSE YE KNOW NOT THE TRUTH, BUT BECAUSE YE KNOW IT, AND THAT NO LIE IS OF THE TRUTH." -- 1 JOHN 2:21

First Jesus came to restore (reconcile) man to God and God to man.

"HAVING ABOLISHED IN HIS FLESH THE ENMITY, EVEN THE LAW OF COMMANDMENTS CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES; FOR TO MAKE IN HIMSELF OF TWAIN ONE NEW MAN, SO MAKING PEACE;

"AND THAT HE MIGHT RECONCILE BOTH UNTO GOD IN ONE BODY BY THE CROSS, HAVING SLAIN THE ENMITY THEREBY:

"AND CAME AND PREACHED PEACE TO YOU WHICH WERE AFAR OFF, AND TO THEM THAT WERE NIGH.

"FOR THROUGH HIM WE BOTH HAVE ACCESS BY ONE SPIRIT UNTO THE FATHER." -- EPH 2:15-18

"AND, HAVING MADE PEACE THROUGH THE BLOOD OF HIS CROSS, BY HIM TO RECONCILE ALL THINGS UNTO HIMSELF; BY HIM, I SAY, WHETHER THEY BE THINGS IN EARTH, OR THINGS IN HEAVEN.

"AND YOU, THAT WERE SOMETIME ALIENATED AND ENEMIES IN YOUR MIND BY WICKED WORKS, YET NOW HATH HE RECONCILED,

"IN THE BODY OF HIS FLESH THROUGH DEATH, TO PRESENT YOU HOLY AND UNBLAMEABLE AND UNREPROVEABLE IN HIS SIGHT:

"IF YE CONTINUE IN THE FAITH GROUNDED AND SETTLED, AND BE NOT MOVED AWAY FROM THE HOPE OF THE GOSPEL, WHICH YE HAVE HEARD, AND WHICH WAS PREACHED TO EVERY CREATURE WHICH IS UNDER HEAVEN; WHEREOF I PAUL AM MADE A MINISTER;" -- COL 1:20-23

Now, in reference to the question asked Him on the mount.

"THEY ASKED OF HIM, SAYING, LORD, WILT THOU AT THIS TIME RESTORE AGAIN THE KINGDOM TO ISRAEL?" -- ACTS 1:6

Jesus just simply told them that it was to be none of their concern as that time was set and when the Father was ready, He would reveal it to the people that would need to know. What this people that asked the question needed to know was the power of the Holy Ghost so they could witness into all the world that the Messiah had come. His commandment to them was straight forward.

"AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, IT IS NOT FOR YOU TO KNOW THE TIMES OR THE SEASONS, WHICH THE FATHER HATH PUT IN HIS OWN POWER.

BUT YE SHALL RECEIVE POWER, AFTER THAT THE HOLY GHOST IS COME UPON YOU: AND YE SHALL BE WITNESSES UNTO ME BOTH IN JERUSALEM, AND IN ALL JUDAEA, AND IN SAMARIA, AND UNTO THE UTTERMOST PART OF THE EARTH." -- ACTS 1:7-8

About 120 heard the word of the Lord and obeyed. The other 380 just went on their way and were not in the upper room when the Holy Ghost fell.

"AND IN THOSE DAYS PETER STOOD UP IN THE MIDST OF THE DISCIPLES, AND SAID, (THE NUMBER OF NAMES TOGETHER WERE ABOUT AN HUNDRED AND TWENTY,)" -- ACTS 1:15

"AND THEY WERE ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, AND BEGAN TO SPEAK WITH OTHER TONGUES, AS THE SPIRIT GAVE THEM UTTERANCE." -- ACTS 2:4

"THEREFORE THEY THAT WERE SCATTERED ABROAD WENT EVERY WHERE PREACHING THE WORD." -- ACTS 8:4

Here is a very remarkable thing. God sent persecution and scattered the saints so they could witness. You will want to remember this; I will come back to that. Notice they went everywhere. They fulfilled the great commission. The gospel in the first generation (age, or time period) of the church was carried to all men in every nation.

"GO YE THEREFORE, AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY GHOST:

TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU: AND, LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAY, EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD. AMEN." -- MAT 28:19-20

"AND THERE WERE DWELLING AT JERUSALEM JEWS, DEVOUT MEN, OUT OF EVERY NATION UNDER HEAVEN." -- ACTS 2:5

There were there at Pentecost chosen men, drawn by the Holy Spirit, to receive the Holy Ghost and then carry the message back to their own nation and people. It was done. The seed of the Gospel was given to all men everywhere.

How is it that we still say that this must be done, when it was and has been fulfilled?

The darkness that now covers the earth and men is because the light came (the preaching of Jesus) and men loved darkness rather than the light and rejected light, henceforth darkness.

"AND THIS IS THE CONDEMNATION, THAT LIGHT IS COME INTO THE WORLD, AND MEN LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT, BECAUSE THEIR DEEDS WERE EVIL.

"FOR EVERY ONE THAT DOETH EVIL HATETH THE LIGHT, NEITHER COMETH TO THE LIGHT, LEST HIS DEEDS SHOULD BE REPROVED." -- JOHN 3:19-20

The outpouring of the Holy Ghost fulfilled the prophecy of Joel just as Peter said.

"BUT THIS IS THAT WHICH WAS SPOKEN BY THE PROPHET JOEL;" -- ACTS 2:16

How is that so many still expect that to come to pass when it was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost as Peter said? God did not lie. The beginning of the last two days started on the day of Pentecost with great dawning of the light. We are now in the evening time of the 6th day and the night season is upon us.

We are moving quickly towards the midnight hour and the 3 hours that follow (the great tribulation). Then at about the 4th watch (3 o'clock in the morning) the day star (Jesus) shall rise (come) and bring in the morning of the Holy Sabbath of the Lord - the last one thousand year (one day) of God's week.

"AND I SAW THRONES, AND THEY SAT UPON THEM, AND JUDGMENT WAS GIVEN UNTO THEM: AND I SAW THE SOULS OF THEM THAT WERE BEHEADED FOR THE WITNESS OF JESUS, AND FOR THE WORD OF GOD, AND WHICH HAD NOT WORSHIPPED THE BEAST, NEITHER HIS IMAGE, NEITHER HAD RECEIVED HIS MARK UPON THEIR FOREHEADS, OR IN THEIR HANDS; AND THEY LIVED AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST A THOUSAND YEARS." -- REV 20:4

"BLESSED AND HOLY IS HE THAT HATH PART IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION: ON SUCH THE SECOND DEATH HATH NO POWER, BUT THEY SHALL BE PRIESTS OF GOD AND OF CHRIST, AND SHALL REIGN WITH HIM A THOUSAND YEARS." -- REV 20:6

Satan will be bound for that week.

"AND HE LAID HOLD ON THE DRAGON, THAT OLD SERPENT, WHICH IS THE DEVIL, AND SATAN, AND BOUND HIM A THOUSAND YEARS,

"AND CAST HIM INTO THE BOTTOMLESS PIT, AND SHUT HIM UP, AND SET A SEAL UPON HIM, THAT HE SHOULD DECEIVE THE NATIONS NO MORE, TILL THE THOUSAND YEARS SHOULD BE FULFILLED: AND AFTER THAT HE MUST BE LOOSED A LITTLE SEASON.

"BUT THE REST OF THE DEAD LIVED NOT AGAIN UNTIL THE THOUSAND YEARS WERE FINISHED. THIS IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION.

"AND WHEN THE THOUSAND YEARS ARE EXPIRED, SATAN SHALL BE LOOSED OUT OF HIS PRISON," -- REV 20:2-3,5,7

Then comes the end of all time and all flesh as now the complete restoration has come and the purpose for which man was created - to take the place of the angels that fell (Lucifer and the demons) and worship will be restored back into the eternal kingdom of God.

Jesus, replacing Lucifer, and the saints, each one taking the place or estate of the fallen angels, will bring pure and perfect worship back to our God.

"FOR AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, EVEN SO IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE.

"BUT EVERY MAN IN HIS OWN ORDER: CHRIST THE FIRSTFRUITS; AFTERWARD THEY THAT ARE CHRIST'S AT HIS COMING.

"THEN COMETH THE END, WHEN HE SHALL HAVE DELIVERED UP THE KINGDOM TO GOD, EVEN THE FATHER; WHEN HE SHALL HAVE PUT DOWN ALL RULE AND ALL AUTHORITY AND POWER.

"FOR HE MUST REIGN, TILL HE HATH PUT ALL ENEMIES UNDER HIS FEET." -- 1 COR 15:22-25

"EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN SINS, HATH QUICKENED US TOGETHER WITH CHRIST, BY GRACE YE ARE SAVED;

"AND HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, AND MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS:

"THAT IN THE AGES TO COME HE MIGHT SHOW THE EXCEEDING RICHES OF HIS GRACE IN HIS KINDNESS TOWARD US THROUGH CHRIST JESUS." -- EPH 2:5-7

"NOW THEREFORE YE ARE NO MORE STRANGERS AND FOREIGNERS, BUT FELLOWCITIZENS WITH THE SAINTS, AND OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD;" -- EPH 2:19

"THEN SAITH HE UNTO ME, SEE THOU DO IT NOT: FOR I AM THY FELLOWSERVANT, AND OF THY BRETHREN THE PROPHETS, AND OF THEM WHICH KEEP THE SAYINGS OF THIS BOOK: WORSHIP GOD." -- REV 22:9

"BUT THE HOUR COMETH, AND NOW IS, WHEN THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS SHALL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH: FOR THE FATHER SEEKETH SUCH TO WORSHIP HIM." -- JOHN 4:23

"AND THEY SING THE SONG OF MOSES THE SERVANT OF GOD, AND THE SONG OF THE LAMB, SAYING, GREAT AND MARVELLOUS ARE THY WORKS, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY; JUST AND TRUE ARE THY WAYS, THOU KING OF SAINTS." -- REV 15:3

"SAYING, WE GIVE THEE THANKS, O LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, WHICH ART, AND WAST, AND ART TO COME; BECAUSE THOU HAST TAKEN TO THEE THY GREAT POWER, AND HAST REIGNED." -- REV 11:17

"HE WHICH TESTIFIETH THESE THINGS SAITH, SURELY I COME QUICKLY. AMEN. EVEN SO, COME, LORD JESUS." -- REV 22:20
