7 Satellites Covering the Globe! |

Starting this month the Ovecomer is now on two new satellites over South America making a total of seven satellites spanning the globe. Intelsat 805 and Intelsat 907 have been added in a new outreach to South America. Intelsat 907 will be providing temporary coverage simulcasting on IA 805 for a few months. Eventually, Intelsat 805 will be the primary satellite over S. America. Reception details are listed below.
These are the satellites that Brother Stair is now on. Galaxy 25 over
North America and Central America. Hotbird 3 over Europe, North
Africa, and the Middle East. Thaicom 5 global beam over Asia and
Africa. Optus B3 over Austraila and New Zealand. Agila 2 covering
South East Asia and Eastern China. IA 907 covering South America. And
IA 805 which covers South America and Western Europe.

Intelsat 907 satellite at 27.5° West Reception frequency: 3732MHz (C-band) Transponder: 11 Polarization: R Symbol Rate: 14,000 FEC: 3/4 Beam: West Hemisphere

This network stretches as far East as New Zealand and as far West as Hawaii.
