(Behind enemy lines)

In this dream, I was behind enemy lines. I was in the mountains and forests south of Medford Oregon. I was a US guerilla fighter. as I was walking slowly thru the forest with my rifle, I came across a strange thing to see in the middle of the forest. I saw a small round steel man hole cover in the middle of the forest. I walked up to it. it had these words on it. "OIL Eugene Oregon" I opened it up and saw that it was used for oil. the oil blackened tube went straight down into the darkness.

Next I found my self even further behind enemy lines still a Guerilla fighter. I was in Eugene Oregon. I was out side in a suburb there. the houses were all looted. the people gone. windows broke out. all the homes were thrashed to say the least. I grew scared Because its not safe to run around outside in an enemy occupied city during daylight hours. so I ran in to one of the looted houses. the place was thrashed. all the widows were broke out. but I saw on the floor among the junk strong all over the place was about 20-30 of those leather belts with shoulder straps. the same as the ones the Russian And Chinese military wear with their coats. I got the feeling that a big battle took place here. a costly one. not just for Americans but Also for the Enemy who paid a heavy cost in war material, men, blood.

Then I looked thru one of the broken windows. and saw a lone Russian soldier, he was in some ones back yard going thru some tool shed. he was rummaging thru stuff. I grew scared and wanted to run but for some reason I just seem to keep getting closer and closer. so close that I could even see his face. I was then that I realized he couldn't see me? so I watched him a wile. he seemed to be looking for something. I could tell from his facial expressions that he was worried. I got the feeling this lone soldier was short of supply. I got the feeling that the Russian war machine was winding down and in short supply. because it left this lone soldier here to fend for him self for food and supplies.

Note, Eugene Oregon is were most of the Pacific north west gets its gas-oil. Eugene has a large oil and gas tank farm there. perhaps this is why the Russians wanted this City so bad. for its Oil and gas, to keep the Russian war Machine going? Also late in this war it appears that the Russian War machine will start to falter.
