Brother Stair declared for many years, “They will restrict your travel!” Friday, November 3rd, the US Department of Homeland Security revealed the details of Automated Targeting System it uses screen all who seek to travel to or from the United States.
Government releases details on border screening
By JIM ABRAMS - Associated Press Writer - 11/05/06 WASHINGTON — Every person entering or leaving the country could be subject to data collection and risk assessment under a border security program outlined in the Federal Register. Data collected could be retained for up to 40 years.
The Department of Homeland Security stressed that the border monitoring outlined in the notice published Thursday was not a new program or an expansion of an existing program. Full Story
