"Landscapers reap harvest of anger"

It's a nasty world out there. In a lengthy e-mail to friends and others Friday, Sabrina Farber talked about the reaction to widespread disclosure of an e-mail she sent to a potential landscaping client Wednesday.

As discussed in Friday's column, the e-mail said her family business, Garden Guy Inc., chooses "not to work for homosexuals."

Sabrina and Todd Farber's company Web site quotes Scripture on marriage and links to a Web site gathering a petition in opposition to legalization of gay marriage.

"We have experienced threats on Todd's life," she said. "One was, 'You'd better watch your back, something's going to happen to your husband.' I woke up this morning to e-mails full of profanities."

She said one of the hundreds of e-mails she has received said, "I should have never had the right to bear children and I better not have any more."
