UM expert doubts stress caused Castro's bleeding
The University of Miami's top expert in intestinal disorders said
this morning that he had serious doubts about Cuba's official
explanation that ''stress'' caused severe bleeding that would have
required complicated surgery for Fidel Castro.
''Stress is not playing a role here as far as I'm concerned,'' said
Jeffrey B. Raskin, the UM medical school's interim chief of the
division of gastroenterology.
