Here is why we read.

"Neither give place to the devil." -- Eph 4:27

This the reason we have the admonition of the scriptures.

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." -- James 4:7

"We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not." -- 1 John 5:18

As I have written, the devil-satan has never been permitted to come against the saints as a flood - without restrictions up on to this time.

Now he has been given to permission to come with full fury with the one limitation. Do not kill the body (Body of Christ).

"Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." -- Rev 12:12

"And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life." -- Job 2:6

Do you see the command of God here in the account of Job where he was allowed to come against Job but commanded not to kill him.

Another account of God giving satan a free hand within a time frame.

"And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly." -- John 13:27

This was not Judas that the Lord spoke to but to Satan. The devil knows the times dear ones.. They know it is short and soon over for them. God cannot lie.

"And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?" -- Mat 8:29

You see they know that the time will come and then they will cast into the pit. But God who set time and does not lie would not do it then as it was not time.

The point that I am trying to get across in this message is that this is the time given to Satan to come in like a flood.

It has been given unto him. He has a charge and what he does he must do it quickly as the time is at hand.

"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." -- Rev 13:7

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." -- Dan 7:25

Wear out by reason of use or misuse even abuse..

He will come in without restriction except he will not be given power to kill the church.

They will Overcome...

How will they by the Holy Ghost overcome this onslaught this flood of persecution and death of the body and stand in life.

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." -- Rev 12:11

They will be able to face physical death because there sin are forgiven and the power of sin ( death) will be conquered and they will word of there testimony. Jesus is Lord.

"Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw." -- Rev 1:2

"I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ." -- Rev 1:9

"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." -- Rev 12:17

"And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." -- Rev 19:10

They will be witnesses of His resurrection. Glory.

Because he lives we shall live also.

The standard will be the Holiness of God that we live.. Look at what God told Satan about Job. Job lived the standard and Satan could not pass through it.

"And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?" -- Job 1:8

"And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause." -- Job 2:3

God is going to turn to us for this Holy Testimony.

"But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by." -- Luke 21:9

"But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist." -- Luke 21:12-15

The Spirit of God will lift up the standard against him.

That standard will be a holy, perfect people.

"And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel." -- Exo 19:6

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" -- 1 Pet 2:9

"And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Now this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi." -- Gen 29:34

Take note that Levi came about as his mother was fully convinced that she and her husband were now joined in one. This is the fuction of Levi the priest of God. Make God in oneness with the father.

"Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:" -- Num 1:49

"At that time the LORD separated the tribe of [Levi], to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him." -- Deu 10:8-9

The end time messenger task to make the people (Saints - Church- Body of Christ) to be pure and ready to minister at His coming unto the Lord.

"And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness." -- Mal 3:3

"Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." -- Zec 4:6

"The Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." -- Isa 59:19

When the enemy shall come in like a flood

"The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever." -- Psa 29:10
