Now here we are in the evil day. Paul writes, return back to this committed lifestyle, even more, as you see the day approaching. Well, dear one, that evil day is here.

What is the will of God for the small holy remnant? Why, it is to gather the elect, or bring the wheat into the garner or special place.

Let us go onto perfection. Let us grow up in Christ. Become one body or union (the Church).

You know, dear one, the scriptures have told us over and over again that we are one body, yet we have done so much to be separate from each other.

One shall chase a thousand, two shall put ten thousand to flight.

Let me see if I can open your understanding on the end time situation that we are now facing and what the Father's will is for the church.

The first shall be last and the last first. Here we see the Lord telling us that the situation will be reversed. Where there was persecution that scattered the saints, now there will be persecution that will gather or bring them together. This is the evil day. We are commanded to forsake not our living in a spirit of unity. This house of God cannot stand if it remains divided.

They in the first generation of the church were commanded to wait for the promise of the Holy Ghost coming. Then the power to witness was given them. Into all the world they went. Where as we in the last generation are being gathered in one spirit and one mind and told to again wait for a promise, the blessed hope, the coming of the Lord.

Peter sums this last day up with very serious words.

"SEEING THEN THAT ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE DISSOLVED, WHAT MANNER OF PERSONS OUGHT YE TO BE IN ALL HOLY CONVERSATION AND GODLINESS," -- 2 PET 3:11

Teach us how to wait on the Lord. You see, dear one, that the waiting is what is so confusing to so many. They are convinced that they must do something; we have to win souls, they say. But most are not doing that. They seek to impress each other with how much they are doing.

They even will use it to try to influence the Lord to allow them into the Kingdom.

"MANY WILL SAY TO ME IN THAT DAY, LORD, LORD, HAVE WE NOT PROPHESIED IN THY NAME? AND IN THY NAME HAVE CAST OUT DEVILS? AND IN THY NAME DONE MANY WONDERFUL WORKS?" -- MAT 7:22

We all know that Jesus said the night cometh when man's work will be done. Then God will work. He will build His church. Men have built their churches and kingdoms. Now we are about to see the Kingdom of heaven come.

To wait, have patience, it is so clear to me. The word of God tells us that the beast will war with the saints, seeking to wear them out in their waiting for the coming of the Lord.

"I BEHELD, AND THE SAME HORN MADE WAR WITH THE SAINTS, AND PREVAILED AGAINST THEM;" -- DAN 7:21

"AND HE SHALL SPEAK GREAT WORDS AGAINST THE MOST HIGH, AND SHALL WEAR OUT THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH, AND THINK TO CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS: AND THEY SHALL BE GIVEN INTO HIS HAND UNTIL A TIME AND TIMES AND THE DIVIDING OF TIME." -- DAN 7:25

How many are truly telling you that this is the time for the Lord to come with conviction? They say over and over again, nobody knows, you cannot know. They, under the delusion of the antichrist spirit, are seeking to change times and laws.

"We are under grace and do not have to keep God's law. We will make new laws. The homosexuals are God's children too and we will make laws to that effect and all will obey or be cut off," they say.

"AND IT WAS GIVEN UNTO HIM TO MAKE WAR WITH THE SAINTS, AND TO OVERCOME THEM: AND POWER WAS GIVEN HIM OVER ALL KINDREDS, AND TONGUES, AND NATIONS." -- REV 13:7

Are you able now to understand why the scriptures tell you that in your ability to wait you will keep your soul saved?

"BUT HE THAT SHALL ENDURE UNTO THE END, THE SAME SHALL BE SAVED." -- MAT 24:13

"AND YE SHALL BE HATED OF ALL MEN FOR MY NAME'S SAKE: BUT HE THAT SHALL ENDURE UNTO THE END, THE SAME SHALL BE SAVED." -- MARK 13:13

"IN YOUR PATIENCE POSSESS YE YOUR SOULS." -- LUKE 21:19

How are we going to be able to stand in this evil day? Why, the scriptures give us the answer. As an army in the power of His resurrection and in our obedience to His commands.

Look at it with me in the restoration chapter of Ezekiel 37.

"SO I PROPHESIED AS HE COMMANDED ME, AND THE BREATH CAME INTO THEM, AND THEY LIVED, AND STOOD UP UPON THEIR FEET, AN EXCEEDING GREAT ARMY." -- EZEK 37:10

In the new testament, we are told how to stand in this army.

"PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, THAT YE MAY BE ABLE TO STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL." -- EPH 6:11

"FOR WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES." -- EPH 6:12

"WHEREFORE TAKE UNTO YOU THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD, THAT YE MAY BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND IN THE EVIL DAY, AND HAVING DONE ALL, TO STAND." -- EPH 6:13

As an army, it is in following commands that they go forth to conquer. The enemy seeks to divide and then conquer.

This last day army that God is raising up will be like no other army on the earth. In singleness of heart and mind, they will be the all-conquering saints of the most high God.

The battle will be set in array or in order and the gathering together will be complete.

I will do a new thing. It shall spring forth speedily, saith the Lord. It has never been done among men before. There is nothing to compare it with.

Paul, who was caught up into the third heaven sought to tell us what it was to be like.

"FOR YE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE SPIRIT OF BONDAGE AGAIN TO FEAR; BUT YE HAVE RECEIVED THE SPIRIT OF ADOPTION, WHEREBY WE CRY, ABBA, FATHER.

THE SPIRIT ITSELF BEARETH WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT, THAT WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD:

AND IF CHILDREN, THEN HEIRS; HEIRS OF GOD, AND JOINT-HEIRS WITH CHRIST; IF SO BE THAT WE SUFFER WITH HIM, THAT WE MAY BE ALSO GLORIFIED TOGETHER.

FOR I RECKON THAT THE SUFFERINGS OF THIS PRESENT TIME ARE NOT WORTHY TO BE COMPARED WITH THE GLORY WHICH SHALL BE REVEALED IN US.

FOR THE EARNEST EXPECTATION OF THE CREATURE WAITETH FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD.

FOR THE CREATURE WAS MADE SUBJECT TO VANITY, NOT WILLINGLY, BUT BY REASON OF HIM WHO HATH SUBJECTED THE SAME IN HOPE,

BECAUSE THE CREATURE ITSELF ALSO SHALL BE DELIVERED FROM THE BONDAGE OF CORRUPTION INTO THE GLORIOUS LIBERTY OF THE CHILDREN OF GOD.

FOR WE KNOW THAT THE WHOLE CREATION GROANETH AND TRAVAILETH IN PAIN TOGETHER UNTIL NOW.

AND NOT ONLY THEY, BUT OURSELVES ALSO, WHICH HAVE THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, EVEN WE OURSELVES GROAN WITHIN OURSELVES, WAITING FOR THE ADOPTION, TO WIT, THE REDEMPTION OF OUR BODY.

FOR WE ARE SAVED BY HOPE: BUT HOPE THAT IS SEEN IS NOT HOPE: FOR WHAT A MAN SEETH, WHY DOTH HE YET HOPE FOR?

BUT IF WE HOPE FOR THAT WE SEE NOT, THEN DO WE WITH PATIENCE WAIT FOR IT." -- ROM 8:15-25

There is the word again. Wait for it, the blessed hope, the time of the restoration of all things. Then the coming of the Lord.
